Holiday Gift Guide 2017 | Women

Gifting for many is not easy, so clearly I am very busy this time of year!

I love giving and shopping for gifts. I view it as a chance to get somebody to go a little bit further with their style. To give somebody something that they wouldn’t normally buy themselves. Generosity and thoughtfulness are always in style, so lets start gifting!

WOMEN

This gift guide goes from the utilitarian to the lavish and everything in between.

Something for the office or desk is always a very safe bet to give somebody. Really great additions to anyone‘s desk are: the Kate Spade Faux -Tortoiseshell tape dispenser, Kate Spade Faux -Tortoiseshell Stapler, and Kate Spade Faux -Tortoiseshell Note Holder. The Hourglass, whose sand comes in an array of bright colors, is cheerful and fun. The Fim Bookends by Anna for RabLabs combines modern stainless steel lines with the wild and organic shaped Crystals from Ancient Lava Streams. These are sure to be a conversation piece and have history running through its gorgeousness.

The Barneys New York Crystal Square Perfume Bottle is both beautiful and functional. The Bottle’s geometric shape makes a simply stunning statement in anyone’s home. For the yogi in your life, the La Vie Boehme Deco Hot Yoga Mat Towel Combination is a hybrid mat and towel, all in one gorgeous Deco design!

When it comes to jewelry you can make a quiet statement or an audacious statement. Here are several gift choices for each camp. If delicate things are her taste, then the Ileana Makri 18–karat gold diamond earrings diamond studs are set in such a minimalist and striking way. The Lele Sadoughi Hula Hoop necklace’s starburst design on a long chain is another great choice. To make more of a statement then the Roseantica Aquilone gold platted necklace is a great choice. The 1970’s 18-karat diamond and tigers eye cocktail ring from Fred Leighton is cocktail ring perfection. A real conversation starter is the Jacquie Aiche Green Tourmaline, Aquamarine, Diamond & 14K Gold Bar Ring. It’s a fabulous fashion fusion of classic & New Age.

Want to wear your Tech? The WiseWear Calder Activity Tracker bangle is a modern marvel. Its design is sleek and sculptural, but its not only pretty, but smart too! It tracks your steps and vibrates alerts for: email, text, and phone. The amazing feature is if you are in an unsafe situation, tap a few times and it sends alerts to your emergency contacts and drops a GPS location. We all have a friend who constantly borrows your external charger. The iPhone charging bracelet from Mark & Graham is the perfect present for them. Its classic design is easy to wear with any outfit and can be monogrammed.

Going with my theme of taking their style to another level, the Lisa Perry Oversized Duffel Bag in silver is a fun take on a classic weekend bag and guaranteed to make your trip sparkle a little more. Every woman owns a black clutch, which she probably over uses. This Metal Clutch Bag by Perrin Paris is an interesting take on the classic clutch, as it combines sculpture, convenience, and an accessory all in one to create a simply striking item. The sculptural “glove” allows one to comfortably hold the clutch, all the while adorning your hand.

Gloves don’t have to be a boring and pragmatic present. Try giving a pair of Fingerless gloves. The Henri Bendel West 57th Street Fingerless Leather Gloves in black are a great addition to anyone’s wardrobe and can instantly change the tone of a casual or formal outfit. The Gucci Metallic Leather Fingerless Gloves in Gold are truly a great and edgy take on an opera glove. The Agnelle Mitaine Studded Leather Gloves are short and sassy!

Art is a gift, which will enhance their life daily. Each time they see the piece of Art; an emotional response will be evoked. Artist Joan Busing has exhibited throughout the country and is in many private collections. A monoprint is quite literally one of a kind. An image is painted on a surface and goes through the printing press. This process is repeated several times with different colors and forms, which creates depth and a final singularly stunning image. Joan Busing’s monoprints are vibrant, ethereal, dramatic, intoxicating, and fluid. The monoprints below are titled: Crossed forms, Tied Forms, and Woven Forms. These are available as a set or individually.

These are only a few of the plethora of presents I have had the pleasure to select for you below!
